  • Wire management in the roof for lighting

Perfect 2 person tent

We’ve only set up in our living room, but can’t wait to get it out on the trails in Colorado this fall! Seems very durable, easy to set up, and perfect fit for our mattresses!

Basecamp Solo Just Arrived

I love it. It just arrived and I've not a chance to field trial it yet, but the size is perfect. I run a jeep LJ and it fits in the back perfectly. Initially, I almost did not purchase the Solo as I was concerned about the size. I'm so glad I bought it. Perfect size for the two of us and my dog. My grown kids can get their own Solo (which they now want). Bigger is not necessarily better.
I like to call and order more expensive items versus ordering online. When I called, the owner answered the phone and I had a great talk with him. Truly a cool buying experience.

I love it and I'm going to get so much use out of it! Seems very sturdy, The only point I'm concerned about is the zipper around the entrance has a lot of tension on it.
For some reason I was under the impression that there was maybe mylar involved in the quilted layers that make up the tent but that is not the case. I left it set up in the yard and it gets pretty hot, but it does take longer to get hot than most tents. I would still take it to a festival. And it's summer but I would trust it to insulate well in higher altitude or colder temps.

In terms of design I haven't seen anything better, but if I wanted to improve on it I would like to see the entrance to be a little easier to get in and out of, my partner was pointing out that he'd like to be able to sit in the "doorway" and it's not an option. It traps my kid in there which is funny.

I have shown it to all my friends and the most common feedback is: people would like to see a way to connect multiple tents to make "rooms".

First of all the customer service is top notch they really took care of me. Hours of YouTube and online reviewing led me to this product which is very expensive for me so I wanted to make sure I did my homework. I got the solo because I don’t have a truck yet and it fits two (with cots) easily and also fits in my car. I am not good at setting things up and putting stuff together so for me to be able to put this tent up and pack it back down when I tested it out, in less than 10 minutes was an amazing feat for me 😂. (No guylines or tent stakes used on the test). The material used is top notch and looks and feels tough yet comfortable. Can’t wait to take it out next month and beyond! Thanks Mark and Overland(ish)! Great product and service!
