The footprint for the regular base camp fits great but for some reason the Basecamp solo footprint is hugely oversized. I can't really see the advantage of that, if left extended it'll just create puddles of moisture.
It needs to be folded under I guess but it doesn't stake out that way so it's all rumpily and bunchy underneath the tent.
I guess if they were going to make a really oversized footprint that needed to be folded, having obvious seams or lines that we could use to guide the folding process would be helpful.
We're going to end up using another weatherproof footprint thing a housemate had that actually fits right.
The rainfly tho! Is normal and fits and it's an important part of functioning in the rain
